It has been said that half of all Star Wars fans are women, and chances are if you found your way to this post you either are, or know, a female Star Wars fan. It wasn’t until recently (okay, maybe the past 6 or 7 years) that I felt like there were some truly great products for female Star Wars fans to display their love of the films in a feminine and beautiful way. Here are some of my favorite products and companies to keep in mind when shopping for your favorite fangirl (or yourself!).
I’ve had my eye on this lovely tee from Her Universe for a while now. I own many, many products from Her Universe and have always been pleased by the designs and quality of the products offered. I especially love the delicate lace trim at the bottom of this tee.
Another find from Her Universe is the Symbol Pattern Cardigan. This is a nice nod to Star Wars, and can be worn in almost any setting. It is a lovely pattern and classic style. I’ve worn mine everywhere, from Star Wars Celebration to the grocery store, and I always get compliments on it.
Loungefly is a company that makes high quality purses and accessories. They work with a number of brands (Disney, Star Wars, Hello Kitty, etc.) to offer unique and eye catching products. This BB-8 Embossed Wallet is adorable and would pair well with their BB-8 Mini Dome Bag.
These delicate bangles from Alex and Ani seem to be everywhere right now! Part of the fun is that they can be easily stacked with other Alex and Ani bangles for a fun and personalized look. Disney has a special Disney Parks Collection by Alex and Ani which includes some lovely Star Wars designs including the Jedi Order Bangle above.
If the person you are shopping for has a sweet tooth (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t?) I can personally recommend the Star Wars themed chocolates from SweetBelle Cakes on Etsy. I ordered several Darth Vader and Stormtrooper chocolates for my Star Wars themed Baby Shower in 2013 and was very impressed by the taste, quality, and packaging (I always get nervous when getting chocolates delivered, but these were expertly packaged and arrived in pristine condition).
Also on Etsy, Inkist Prints offers some of the most gorgeous watercolor prints of beloved characters and locations for a variety of fandoms. I adore this BB-8 and R2D2 print. There is also a Rey print which is lovely as well. Any of these prints would make for a great conversation piece and something pretty to look at every day.
For those who need a daily caffeine intake, or who just love beautiful mugs, there is this Star Wars Rebel Logo Mug. I enjoy the blue color chosen for the Rebel Logo and the simplicity of the Star Wars Logo. It can be found over at Think Geek, along with hundreds of other inspired products.
Finally, if you know someone who loves subscription boxes then Smuggler’s Bounty would make a great gift. Smuggler’s Bounty is the only official Star Wars subscription box. Boxes arrive every other month and each box comes with at least one Funko Pop! Figure, a unisex shirt, and a variety of other surprises, often including exclusives. It’s a fun treat to look forward to!
Well, there you have it: my Star Wars Gift Guide for Her. Are you familiar with the products listed above? Is there something else I should have included? Let me know by leaving a comment below!
